Gardens of Wales National Botanical Gardens - Boasting the largest span glasshouse in the world, the recently opened 568 acre gardens in beautiful settings are worth a visit for plant enthusiasts. Aberglasnay - Near Llandeilo known as the "Garden lost in time." The origins of Aberglasney are shrouded in mystery, the house and estate dates back many centuries probably before the 1600s.

   

WWT - The Wildfowl and Wetlands Centre

Located on the Ramsar site of the Burry Inlet, WWT's innovative centre at Llanelli is at the frontend of wetland conservation in Wales. It's newest feature is the Millennium Wetland complex, home to wildlife as diverse as dragonfly and Little Egret.

Cefn Sidan beach has been described as one of Europe's best beaches. The beach, (winner of the coveted Blue Flag award) is vast, probably 8 miles long and half a mile to the sea at it's narrowest when the tide is out. Cefn Sidan is also safe for bathing within the lifeguard patrolled area.
